Cactus and Snow
It doesn't snow often in Tucson, but when it does, the results are usually spectacular.

There was a rush to Saguaro National Monument on the January day in 2007 when this snow occurred. Tucson is not prepared for snow. On the radio on this day I heard the following, "The bridges in Tucson are closed." We may not have rivers, but there are many washes spanned by bridges. Many, if not most, people in Tucson were late to work that day.
